ScopeDuring 3 days of summer course, regional practitioners will acquire knowledge, valuable contacts and skills to prepare high quality project proposals for their regional development agencies. The course is focused on programs useful for regional development agencies like H2020, COSME or Interreg Europe. The project proposals will support territorial cooperation, innovations in companies and regional economic development.
|
Approach |
The summer course will also have presentations of all the interesting calls for regional development agencies and explanations about successful projects in these calls. Each presentation will be also connected with a common project proposal that is going to be developed during the course collectively by the participants. During each session, there will be detailed explanations of the different aspects to be considered to prepare a proposal: plan of activities, consortia partnership, intellectual property rights, communication, budget, etc. Each aspect will be presented and then applied in detail to the project ideas initially selected.
|
Audience |
The course is aimed at practitioners and officers of regional economic development agencies. They will benefit from its practical approach. Participation is limited to 15, in order to allow for analysis of each participant's project idea.

Expected results |
First and foremost, this summer course provides regional practitioners a complete view about all the possibilities to prepare project proposals in EU programmes. They have the contacts with EU project officers managing the calls and with experienced consultants that could provide advice
Furthermore, during the summer course, they are going to prepare a mock proposal with other regional practitioners in similar situation. Ideally these proposals and the working consortiums established will lead to prepare actual proposals. |
