Silvia Mestres
Head of the European Projects Office at ACCIÓ acquiring different positions since 2008 until now. She has a wide experience of more than 15 years on European Projects Management in several positions at the public administration and major private foundations in Spain, focusing in a wide scope of fields, such as business competitiveness, research , innovation and trade, employment promotion, local and regional development, human rights and social deve lopment focused on disability. She is also representing the Catalan Government at the Spanish Economy Ministry advisory board on EU business innovation funding. She is the academic co-director of the EU Innovation and Research projects management specialisation training at La Salle and is lecturing in other univers ities, such as UB, business schools such as ESERP or international organisations such FUNIBER on international innovation. She holds an MSc in Political Science with specialization in International Relations, a Postgraduate in Human Rights and Conflicts resolution, both from Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and a Diploma in European Institutions.
